Winton’s Wellington workshop one week away

It will be wonderful to welcome Sydney Buddhist teacher Winton Higgins to Wellington one week from now.

He’ll be in conversation with Lloyd Geering at St Andrew’s on The Terrace on the evening of Friday 15 Feb and leading a secular Buddhist weekend workshop at 31 Hobson Crescent in Wellington on 16 & 17 Feb which has the title ‘Making the Most of Being Human’.

There are places remaining at the workshop – to find out more and register for the workshop go to Winton Higgins Workshop.

As as taster, you might like to listen to a dharma talk he gave in Sydney in October 2012 entitled ‘The Plato to NATO of Buddhism’ which was posted on the Secular Buddhism Australia website.

Described by web maestro Lenorë Lambert as ‘a great big picture talk’, it’s an overview of the key lines of development of the dharma as it wove through and into Asian cultures in the centuries after Mr Gotama’s death.
